Career - production director

We are looking for a passionate and rigorous Food Production and Quality Control Manager to oversee all production operations and ensure the quality of food products at Olivia. Reporting to management, you will be responsible for optimizing manufacturing processes, ensuring compliance with health standards and improving overall production performance.

Main responsibilities

Production

  • Supervise and coordinate production activities to ensure maximum efficiency.
  • Develop and implement optimized manufacturing processes.
  • Manage the supply of raw materials in collaboration with the purchasing teams.
  • Provide training and supervision to production teams.
  • Analyze performance indicators and implement corrective actions if necessary.

Quality control and food safety

  • Ensure compliance with MAPAQ standards and other regulations in force.
  • Implement and follow strict quality control protocols.
  • Identify and correct quality gaps and propose continuous improvements.
  • Oversee internal and external food safety audits.
  • Manage product recalls.

Required skills and qualifications

  • Significant experience in food production management and quality control.
  • In-depth knowledge of health and regulatory standards.
  • Excellent team management and leadership skills.
  • Organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to analyze production data and make strategic decisions.
  • Mastery of production management and quality monitoring tools.

Assets

Experience in managing a central kitchen or high volume production.

Experience in cost optimization and food waste reduction.

DEC in food processes and quality

Course in Food Science and Technology

Computer literate

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Compensation: starting at $34.00 per hour

Expected hours: minimum 35 per week
